Hi Guys. I have a James A. Wood, born I think in Campbell County, VA. Parents were James Wood and Irene ______. He was suppose to have married my Angeline Moten (Morton/Moton) in Monroe County, 21 May 1879 at Sinking Creek, Monroe County, WVA. Does anyone have any information on the Wood family, or even on this marriage. Angeline parents were my great grandparents - James W. Moten (Morton) and Lucy M. Sowder (possible first name Lucinda). Angeline was born 1857/1859 in Montgomery County, VA.
