Hi Karen, In the book "Giles County, Virginia; History - Families" I was able to find: Andrew W. Thomas, Jan. 17, 1870 - Feb. 13, 1942, (mason) Josie Lou Thomas, Sept. 28, 1875 - Feb. 19, 1953 Sorry, but there is no James Woods Thomas listed in Peterstown Cemetery. You're right about lots of Spanglers being buried there. Peterstown Cemetery used to be called Spangler Cemetery. Hope this helped and good luck with your searches.
