Mike, I looked throught notes I had made previously on Fort Donnally. Below is taken from HISTORY OF NICHOLAS COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA by William Griffee Brown. P411 Fort Savannah stood on the present site of Lewisburg, and Fort Donnally was ten miles to the north west of Fort Savannah. Fort Clendenin was at the mouth of Elk River where Charleston now stands and Fort Randolph at Point Pleasant. This is not the book I was referring to with a map. What children do you have for James Burns?
