Dear Linda, the answer to your question is "no", of all the surnames I am connected to in Monroe Co., WV, the name "Moss" is not one of them. I was just looking something up in one of Larry Shuck's books and saw where a Moses Moss was a witness to an 1807 deed near Sweet Springs, Monroe Co., WV. A Moses Moss also married a Sally Hoke, daughter of Henry Hoak in the early-1800s in Monroe Co., Sally would be a connection to my family that I haven't followed up as it is a 1/2 relationship through my "Daugherty" line.
