Dear Bill Johnson, Yes, we probably met at Ethel Lowance's funeral, for she was a neighbor of my grandmother Bostic in Ronceverte. Her daughters, Mary Jane and Emojean are two of my long-time friends (abt. 1947). In fact, Mary Jane and her husband, Doran Cornwell, are coming to spend a couple of nights with me this week. Doran's brother, Estell, died in his sleep last night in Ronceverte. I've been dabling in Lowance/Eagle/Shafer geneaology on Mary Jane's and Emojean's behalf for several years (when I run across anything about these surnames when I am researching my Helms/Hellems ancestors and others.).
