The William I was talking about was referred to in an email, married to a Spradlin? Rosanna Vance b. circa 1800-1810. Stilll alive in the Giles Co. 1880 census. She was a Willis then, actually married in 1822 , Greenbrier Co records.to John Willis. Can identify her in that census by the other inhabitants of the household. don't know when she died. I think that we have emailed before about her. SAw alot of people lookng for Vances in Logan Co. WV, when I was at the site for the county today.
