Hi Dorothy, My Grant Hellems(b. abt. 1876) was the son of Joseph Hellems and Joannah married Mary J. Humphreys (b. 9-19-1858)September 03, 1893 at Rose School House, Craig Co. by Wm. Linton, Mary J. Humphreys parents were Anderson L. Humphreys and Manerva Frances Dodd. I would love some of the information you have. I have a cousin that still lives in New Castle, Va. Her grandfather is William McKinley Helems who married Cleo Mae Looney. I would love to help her put her family tree together, maybe I could help you get information or share in what way I can.
