Yes, I know a little about Leonard Marion Hellems, but not much of anything about his family. He was in Greenbrier County during 1900s, but somewhere along the line the name changed to Helms. He lived until 1949 and married three times--the second time to my gg aunt Esta Shafer and third time to my great aunt Mary Edith Lowance. I've always been fascinated with "Uncle Lem," although he died a year or so before I was born. I have several of his diaries and some of his other positions that my aunt, his widow, had.
