I'm also related to the Monroe Co. Thompsons. I have a John Thompson, born about 1740 and died 1823, married to a Margaretta, with children John, James, Samuel, William, Thomas, Polly, Elizabeth, Isabella, Margaret "Peggy", and Sarah.
