For those interested in the Lewis family, I've looked for years for a connection to another John Lewis, who lived in Allegheny County, Va., very near the Lewis property in Monroe County. This John (W., I think) Lewis owned about 2,000 acres in Allegheny County that bordered on Greenbrier County. He was born approximately 1787 and died about 1869. He was married to Elizabeth Harman. I've seen references to his having been born in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. Any help with this Lewis family would be appreciated. Bill Johnson Harrisburg, PA
