Thanks for the information! Do you know who Enoch and Frances parents were and a marriage date? Sue
Hi, Thank you for your interest and email, but I know my Sarah Ann (g grandmother) was married to John S. Smith and sometime after being married in Monroe Co. they moved to Fayette County. She did have a daughter or two in Monroe Co,, but they were Adeline and Isabella I think. After they moved to Fayette Co. she had Margaret, Mary, Ruth Catherine (my grandmother) in 1861, James and John I do not know where or when Sarah Ann Bland or who her parents where. Nor do I know anything about where John S. was born or his parents. Thanks again for your reply. Joy Stockment gulring@aol.com
Joy, I have a Sarah Ann 'Sallie' Bland in the right place at the right time, BUT I don't know who she married - or if she did. She had at least 2 daughters around 1870, but their last name is listed as Bland. One of the daughters' father is listed as a James Fanning on her marriage license. You may have already researched this family and know that this is not a link, but for what it's worth - Sarah was the d/o James B. & Ida 'Dawson' Bland. James was the s/o of James & Margaret Bland. If you think this is a possible, let me know. One of her daughters is a family descendant. Linda
