Duh, I'm still asleep this morning! Here's my webpage address: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Estates/4606 Sorry about that everyone. I would love to be able to see everyone else's webpages, would you all mind sending over your addresses to the list? Carol
Sandra G, If you want to put in a back feature where someone clicks on that to get to the first page of your website or the previous page you need to set it up that way. Here is my webpage address. It's not the best and I haven't updated it in ages but if you go to VIEW SOURCE with your mouse you can see the HTML codes I used on my pages. I did not have a computer when I made up my webpages so I had to teach myself the coding to use to make it work. That was when I was on the webtv and had to figure out a way to save the names I was working on in some kind of genealogy format. I made up my own as a type of numbering system. It's not good and it's a confusing format; I am the first to say that but it worked and now that I have the computer and the FTM program it made things simpler when I went to input all those names. Anyway, take a look at my webpage and see if you can use anything off it. Just copy the codes (don't forget those end brackets!) and save them to your webpage. Make sure you preview the page before you save it, just in case the codes don't seem to be working. I will be here most of the day if you need some help, just e-mail me directly. Carol
Can anyone out there tell me if there is a James Woods Thomas on the 1910 Monroe Census. His age would be abt 71 and his wife's name is Mary. Thanks! Karen
Sandra G, Your webpage links work fine, your pages and photographs look terrific. I like the way you have everything set up exactly as an outline. Much, much easier to read than some I've seen on webpages (including mine!). Carol Pack Urban P.S. Like the photo in the hat. I like hats, too. Quite a collection.

Carol: Allehany Highlands Genealogical Society is at 1011 Rockbridge Ave., Covington, Va in the old Rivermont School Building. You can read about it on their website on the USGenweb. If you are planning a trip there, contact me personally again and I'll give you a name to contact. They don't have a phone at the Society and I don't want to put my friend's home phone on the web, but will give it to you, plus another couple of e-mail addresses you can contact. Several days ago I read a message that someone was going to be in Monroe Co. and was wondering about the genealogical society's hours. If you are unable to be in Monroe Co. when the genealogical society is open, I suggest you try the Alleghany Co. Society. They are open 3 days a week and have a tremendous amount of Va and WV genealogical material, including the entire library of Nora Martin. For those who are not familiar with her, she did a lot of genealogy, collected all the census films and history and family books of VA and WV counties, plus had a number of family histories. She also compiled some census records which were printed and are now in the library. In addition, they have hundreds of other records. Well worth a visit. I don't think so. I have a lot of Lowes that were in rince George's County, MD. and then to Greenbriar, Va to W.v. to Ohio. If any of that seems pertinent, let me know. I have a lot of info, ut some ties are missing. Lainie, It's been a while. You gave me Elizabeth a long time ago. Thanks a bunch for this information. By the way, I was never able to connect DILLARD with DOLLARD around Franklin or Bedford Counties. Still, it's an interesting thought . . . Thanks again! Bill Hobbs

Good morning, Granville CALLOWAY m. Susan HOBBS 11 Feb. 1832, Monroe County VA (now WV). Anyone have anything on the descendants of this couple? Thanks, Bill Hobbs
Good morning, I wish to thank all of you for the opportunity to do some CSA lookups this past week. However, some of my descendants are coming to visit, and we shall spend some time at the graves of some of our ancestors. And, the library book is due back Tuesday. So, as of 4:45 am EDT on Saturday, I cannot do any more lookups from The Giles, Allegheny and Jackson Artillery by Keith Bohannon. Have a nice weekend, and take a moment to think about those ancestors who fought and died in all the wars we fought. Best wishes, Bill Hobbs
