I am researching the Litton Family. I am at a dead stop on this family. I have Ethel Litton married to James Welch. James was from Johnson Co. KyThey had 3 sons, William, Walter,and Warren. 3 Daughters. Edna Mae, Dorthy, and Mary Louise. Mary was my mother. It is said that Ethel died shortly after my mother was born. Mom was born in 1933. in Ponds Creek, Goody Ky. That means Ethel died 1933-1934 or35 even. Yet I can find absolutely no trace of her death or burial. Does any body out there know of any Litton's? I can sure use any help that I can get. They said this branch of Litton's might have come from Martin Co. I know that they lived in Pike County when my mother was born.
