Since we are discussing STAR cemeteries, and especially since there seem to be several STAR descendants on this list, perhaps it is time for me to repost the information I am seeking. My wife is a granddaughter of Alice Alma HENSLEY (b. 1 JUL 1899 Mingo County, WV, d. 25 SEP 1981, Montgomery County, Ohio). Of all the trees I am researching, I probably have the most to learn about Alice and her ancestors. Alice was the daughter of William HENSLEY (b. ?, d. 1913, WV) and Laura DEMPSEY (b. abt 1879, Logan County, WV, d. abt 1955 Kermit, Mingo County, WV). Williams parents were Green HENSLEY (b. 1853, Logan County, WV, d. ?) and Elizabeth STAR (b. ?, d.?); Laura's parents were Sanford DEMPSEY (b. ?, d. ?) and Elizabeth COLLIER (b. ?, d. ?). I have found a little bit of information on the HENSLEY and DEMPSEY lines (although I could always use more!), but I know absolutely nothing about the STAR and COLLIER lines, beyond what I have written above.
