I have a question. Can anyone tell me if there is still a Fairfax area in Mingo County? I have found an old 1885 map http://livgenmi.com/mingoWV.htm that lists it back then, but I am unable to locate it on any of today's maps. I was wondering if that area still exists. I have learned that some of my Davis family lived in Fairfax for the 1900 census. I am trying to figure out if this is the same place as Naugituck or if this is a different place.
