    3. Looks like we are first cousins. My mother was Elizabeth Marcum -----Original Message----- From: Meade Harry GS-11 39CS [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: May 26, 2000 11:46 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [WVMINGO] Marcum Cemetery Kim, I'm not familiar with the cemetary but if you find out anything about it please let me know. My mothers family were Marcums. My Grand parents on that side were Ed and Ida Marcum. Although there seem to have been alot more Marcums than Meades in Mingo I know nothing about the Marcums past my Grand parents. Thanks, Harry -----Original Message----- From: Kim [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: May 25, 2000 7:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [WVMINGO] Marcum Cemetery Many of you have been talking about cemeteries lately and reminded me of a cemetery that my sister and I tried to find once. I was wondering if any of you might know about it. I heard that it was called Marcum Cemetery. Its near Delbarton. I remember to get to it you left Delbarton as if you were going to Matewan. You go past Birch High School (I remember my mother always pointing out were the school was) down a little ways and to your left was a holler that went down to Pigeon Creek where my Grandmother ( Roxie Slone) lived. Farther down there was a road to your right that started up Buffalo Mountain. Some where on this road on the right is the Cemetery. My Grandmother is buried there and I know my Uncle Garnel Slone is there too. Everything is over grown and you can't see the cemetery from the road. Does anyone have any idea how far up this road it would be? Kim
