Hi there, I'm not too sure, I haven't been able to find much on my mother's side of the family but lots on my dad's..... My dad is a Chafin, I'm sure you heard of them there were a lot of them down there...... I know there was Chap, lived in Prestonsburg, WV and there was Dan in VA......
