Sorry to say that I have never lived in West Virginia. The closest I have come was the 15 years I spent in Athens, Ohio, about 35 miles from Parkersburg. My mother and father both were born and grew up in Mingo County and I have many cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. in WV. I probably have 30 or more relatives buried in Fairview Cemetery in Williamson. We love to visit beautiful WV when we can and I envy those of you who are fortunate enough to reside there permanently.
