Good morning everyone. I just found this really neat site and for those of us with an ancestor or two that fought in the Civil War, you can look to see if perhaps he/she was awarded a medal. It tells you what you have to do to claim that medal. Being that what is now WV was fought for the Union, these medals are for Union soldiers. <A HREF="www.wvculture.org/history/medals.htm">www.wvculture.org/history/medals.htm</A> I just thought it was neat.
