    1. Re: [WVMINGO] Poll: Do you live in West Virginia?
    2. Danny, When we were growing up and staying with my grandmother during the summe, about once a month Uncle Roel (Ellis) would load us up in his truck and we would head to Williamson or Logan for a day of shopping. Aunt Mabel and Granny in the cab with Uncle Roel and all of us kids in the back. We were each given a dollar or two to buy whatever we wanted or thought we just had to have. Usually it was spent on 45 records and a fountain drink at the 5 and dime. What a time we had! If you ever get to hear the live version of "Love at the 5 and Dime" by Nanci Griffith, it says it all. (Kathi Matha had a hit with the song several years ago, Nanci is the writer of it.) She tells a story of shopping the Woolworth store in downtown Austin, Texas. It just brings it all back to me.
