The pilgrims came across the sea and never thought about you and me yet its very strange the way how we thing of them Thanksgiving Day We tell the story old and true of how they sailed across the blue and built their homes close to the sea to worship God as they pleased As a genealogist old or new we look for facts to prove when our forefathers sailed the blue and where they landed to start anew we search the records of births and deaths, marriages, census, taxes and all the news, Just to prove who belongs to you I'm thankful for all the work that was done since they con ashore For my freedom and so much more I thank you Veterans who gave so much And my forefathers whom I research I'm glad this land is still free And for God who watches over you and me. Happy Thanksgiving Pray for our soldiers and our Country Causby
