Hello Jean, No, I'm sorry that I don't have information on your Sarah Short. My Nancy Elizabeth Short was born in Russell Co VA probably about 1770, appears in Floyd Co KY before Pike Co was created and, according to Hardesty, came to what is now Wayne Co in 1825. That is all I know about her. Another Short I have is Mary Short who married Billy Bromley and whose daughter, Elizabeth Bromley (b. 1811) married Rev. John Jarrell, son of Jane Jarrell and Lazarus Damron. If any of this rings a bell maybe it will be of some help to you.
