My great grandfather was James Madison Blankenship, 1853-1939, who married 1st Rachel Ann Shannon around 1875. Their children were Sarah Jane (Gee), Luther Jackson (Bud), Alexzena? (Bea), and Nora Easley Blankenship. This family in Mercer Co WV for the 1880 and 1900 censuses and in Mingo Co for the 1920 census (James with his second wife enumerated next door to his daughter Bea Reid and family.) I have not yet found their 1910 census listing. I am interested in finding ancestors and descendants of this family. I have descendants of Nora Easley Blannkenship and Lonnie Bray -- will gladly share. Does this ring a bell with anyone out there?
