This may not be the correct forum for this question but I don't know who else to ask. So here goes. How does kinship work? Here is an example: My sister is listed as Aunt (to my daughter) and also as 6th cousin once removed. What does the 6th cousin once removed mean? And how is it figured? For my x-wife's sister it just says Aunt. For me it lists Father and 6th cousin once removed.... So my question is What gives? I didn't know I was my daughter's cousin or was this software written by one of our cousin 9th removed? Confused Phil Montgomery
