Thanks for the information, Larry. My Steele- Mounts(Mountz) connection occured in Mingo when the d/o David Cecil Mounts, Martha "Patsy", b. abt. 1825-1830 married John Steele,b. abt. 1825. Patsy's parents were married in 1809 in Montgomery County, but I have been unable to find the parents of David Mounts, or the Steele family that John descended from before they got to Logan(Mingo). That's why the close proximity of the names caught my eye in this 1810 Ohio County census. My Ferrells, however, came from Russell County, I believe. Thanks for your help.
