Commissioners Certificate... on both sides of a small branch, waters of Thompsons Creek, branch of Clinch River... beginning by a path... March 21, 1783 - Thomas Ferral, heir to William Ferral, dec'd, assignee of Richard Thompson, assignee of Jacob Jackson... 300 ac... on the northside of Clinch River in the New Garden, includes improvements, actual settlement made in 1772...August 24, 1781."
