Hi Judy and all, I was born in Mingo county Wv, I went back there two years ago and I was shocked to see how bad things have gotten. When I was a young girl I loved it there, all the houses were all painted yellow because they belonged to the Iland creek coal Company and had to be kept clean an neat. But no more!!! and the area from Delbarton to Purtian Mines is so auful to look at there is piles of trash on both sides of the highway, it looks like a dump and smeels so bad. I was ashamed the the State of Wv would allow this to happen. I sent a email to the governer of Wv, but I go no reply, I asked him if some of the churches and organizations could go along the highway and clean it up like they do here in Ohio, He diden't even reply. NO, I don't want to ever live in West Virginia again. sorry, but its not the same.
