    2. Wilma, Groups and/or organizations can pledge to keep a section of roadway clean. All they have to do is to contact the Division of Highways and say that they would like to "adopt" whatever amount of roadway and keep it clean. It is called the Adopt a Highway project and there will be a sign erected stating who or what organization has adopted that area. Apparently, that area has not had a group to adopt it. However, here in Fayette County, there are adopt a highway signs everywhere. Some are church groups, boy scouts, Ladies Garden Club, etc. So, it is up to the people of the area. If they want to have it clean and neat, then someone needs to adopt it. Anita

    3. Anita, I completely agree, but it seems no one who lives there cares how it looks. It is so sad. There is nothing I can do since I live in northern Ohio.
