Trying to learn who the parents of John B. Baker b. Apr. 15, 1801 may have been. I haven't been able to connect him to any of the other Bakers in Hampshire County in the early 1800's. Thought perhaps someone else may have. Elizabeth Junkins, b. 1806 was my GGG Grandmother on my father's side. I haven't been able to find a census record of the John B. Baker family in 1840 that fits the profile of what this family should have looked like in 1840. It appears John B. Baker died sometime between March 7, 1843 when their last child was born and July 18, 1850, by which time Elizabeth (Junkins) Baker had apparently remarried to a John Sargent, who also is a bit of a mystery as to his whereabouts in 1840. John Sargent and Elizabeth Junkins (Baker) Junkins, along with three of John B. Baker's children; are found in the 1850-1880 census in the Philippi area of Barbour County. Thanks for any help, Sam
