    3. Also, I transcribed the papers from the 1800's from WVU. As far as I know, I obtained copies of all they had there. Does anyone else know where there are any Keyser / Mineral Co papers prior to 1911? Patti

    3. The library database FirstSearch shows the Piedmont Herald from 1890:1:11-1935:11:14> <1936:1:2- in the WV Newspaper Project--those might be available by interlibrary loan, but I haven't tried yet. There are also scattered issues of the Mountain Echo [Keyser] from 1876 on held by different libraries (only five)--including the Kansas State Historical Society (for some reason!). 1. 1928 Keyer High School Yearbook- Brannen Listings
    2. Charlie Brannen
    3. Hello, My name is Charlie Brannen. My great uncle, Bert Brannen lived in Keyser till about 1930. Him and his family moved west to California about that time. I was looking at the directory of transcripts on the Rootsweb Mineral County files last night and found a transcript from the 1928 yearbook for Keyser High. Both of Bert's sons were listed as juniors that year, Kenneth B and Durward A Brannen. I assume since there was a yearbook that the names were taken from the pictorial pages in it. Is there anyone who could copy the pictures from it and email them to me? Or, if I could find a person who had a copy of the yearbook, (or any other they might be in as well, 1926, 27, 28, 29) I would be willing to come copy them myself. Thanks in advance for all your help. Charlie Brannen St Albans WV

    3. Has anyone else replied to your post, yet? If not, try the Keyser High School Library, the Keyser Public Library, or the Mary Shipper Libary at Potomac State College of WVU in Keyser, WV. Keyser High School - 304-788-4230 Potomac State College of WVU - 800-262-7332 Mary Shipper Libarary - 304-788-6901 101 Fort Ave Keyser, WV 26726 http://www.potomacstatecollege.edu/ Keyser Mineral County Public Library 105 Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 304-788-3222 Either or both might have the old year books. Or they may be able to direct you to the alumni association who could assist you. In Cumberland, MD, where I grew up accrossed the Potomac River from Keyser, my high school, Fort Hill, has an alumni association called the F-club. I think Keyser High has an alumni association, too. But for the life of me, I can't remember it's name. (Senior moment). Come on your Golden Tournado grads, help me out on this one....
