HI Carrie, I see George Hamilton's family in the 1880 census, but was unable to find a Hamilton family in the Cabin Run area of the 1920 Census. If you have an estimated birth date for Herbert, you might try to find his original family in a census following his birth year living near the Hamilton family. Per Marriage Records from Garrett County, Maryland courthouse: HAMILTON, James, age 23, Hampshire Co. WV, married on November 25 1884, FRIEND, Cornelia F. age 28, Garrett County MD. Both were single at the time of marriage.--Cornelia was born about 1856. If anyone might know of this James Hamilton I will be so grateful if you would let me know who he was. Pat-T
