I don't have any Pickering information, but do know that Preble Co, OH had a large Quaker settlement. Have you researched the Quaker records? They kept very good records. The library at Eaton has a copy of the volume containing local records, I believe. They also have some other volumes. Also, Butler Co, just south of Preble has an extensive amount of information at The Records Center in Hamilton. I hope this helps. Helen
