I can't prove or disprove this fact. I did look in my "Harvey Genealogy book by Marshall Brown (now deceased) and note the following source. A Family Record of the Junkins Family, copied from an old Bible in the possession of Larece Simmons, of WV, by George Wilson Junkins, and passed on to Rev. Wilson Ward Harvey by Mrs. Kathleen Kooken, Keyser, WV, a daughter of Mr. George Wilson Junkins, and in turn passed on the the wirther by Rev. Harvey. Mr. Marshall wrote: "Harvey Genealogy by Marshall Brown Page 97, John Junkins, the father of William Junkins, was born in Londonderry, Ireland. He left Ireland as a stowaway on a boat and was discovered when too far out to sea to be sent back. He married twice, first to Ruth Fitzwater, and secondly to Elizabeth Anderson. Dec. 14, 1813, married James Wilson; (4) William Junkins, b. May 25, 1813, married Milly Harvey; (5) Jane Junkins, b. Jan. 15, 1815. Children of the second marriage were: (6) Mary Junkins, b.
