Susan, Thanks. As far back as we are able to track is Benjamin Rawlings who married Julia Newcomb. Their daughter Catherine married a Danial Leatherman. Their daughter Julia married Benjamin Welch (Son of Isaac and Nancy). Elijah Rawlings (either Benjamin's brother or son )married a Hannah Leatherman. Peter Rawlings grandson of Benjamin married Lauranna Welch (daughter of Isaac and Nancy Welch. Peter and Lauranna's son Elijah Rawlings married Hester Ann Welch. She was the daughter of Charity Welch (Isaac and Nancy Welch's daughter.) (Lauranna and Benjamin's sister). Elijah and Hester Ann were my husband's Great Great Grandparents. We have been able to find Peter Rawlings grave on the Welch farm. Lauranna is recorded as being buried in the Cabin Run Cemetery but no head stone. We have been searching for the location of the old Rawlings homestead on Patterson creek road to no avail. We believe the original land was lot #1 first granted to Parkers. We are in search for Benjamin and Julia Newcomb, Rawlings graves. We would also like to find the graves for Elijah and Hester Ann. We have done a lot of foot work in the area and met many nice people. But not able to find graves. Hopefully some one out there knows.
