Hi Helen, I thought too that perhaps the home was built earlier than 1870's. Maybe the 187? was when, maybe Susan & others, did some additions to the original log cabin. Janet was very happy to get additional information on the family. She was unable to find much more. They have to get the logs re-caulked before winter. They call the property Whispering Pines. We hope to get over this week-end with camera. It will be hard for me to get away from her with no puppies. I think you had contacted Janet last January with some data of the Fleek family. She had an email from you. I have been doing research in Hampshire & Mineral county---looking to connect my western MD. Parker family with those of Hampshire/Mineral Co. areas. Thanks again for your help.
