Hi everyone, Thank you all who helped identify the Arthur Fleek family. The present owners of the Fleek home are trying to restore the original building. Their Deed only mentions Susan Fleek. I thought too, that a log cabin was kind of meager for a 1870's home. I thought Brick and other building materials were used & preferred by that time. My curiosity has gotten the best of me now. I would like to know if that homestead was built before 1870's. I know over the years that some additions and updates were done to the dwelling. Any addition info would be welcome.
