Is there someone that can check a marriage and birth records for WV and MD. I believe it would be Hampshire County or Allegany County. The 1860 Hampshire County, VA census has a record of a Michael Sinnett 46 born in Ireland living in Patterson Depot, VA. with his family: Series M653, Roll 1350, Page 235 Michael, 46, Ireland Mary A, 48, VA Norman Nash, age 22, MD Born abt. 1838 Jerimiah Monett, age 18, MD 1842 Elizabeth C Loyd, Age 11, MD 1849 Michael Sinnett, 18, MD 1842 Mary A, 6, MD. 1854 I am trying to attach the children to these parents or with other parents or spouses. Appears that they were all born in Maryland which leads to a possible marriage or marriages in MD. Michael Sr. would have came to the US before 1842 since Michael son was born in MD abt.1842 his dad would have been abt 28. Since Mary A (wife) was born in VA and there is another person 18 living in the household it makes you wonder if each may have been married before. Any thoughs or suggestions for untangling this line. I found a death record in Mineral County deaths for a Michael SANNET, 11-24-1868, 56, pob Ireland, parents James & Mary Sannet, have not been able to trace this as the same person.
