Any help wouldd be appreciated. Thanks, Lisa Obituary reads as follows: William Thomas Costello, 69, died Sunday afternoon at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland (Aug 3 1959)where he had been a patient the past three weeks. A retired coal miner, Mr. Costello had resided in Shallmar the past 21 years. He was a native of Shaw, WV, born July 23, 1890, a son of the late Thomas and Julia (Joyce) Costello. He had been a coal miner most of his lifetime except for three years spent in the U.S. Army from 1911 to 1914. He was a member of Local 4597, United Mine Workers of America, and of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Kitzmiller. Surviving are his widow, Beulah E. (Rhodes) Costello; five sons, Fred, Floyd, Lloyd, Ford, and Russell; three daughters, Francis, Catherine, and Colleen. He also leaves three brothers, Patrick, Clarence and Edward Costello, Connellsville, Pa; two sisters, Anna and Agnes McMellon, both of Connellsville; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Sharpless Funeral Home at Blaine, WV. According to a database on the Mineral cty webpage, Thomas and Julia (aka Maggie??) had four children: William born in Elk Garden 7/22/1890, Jas B born in Shaw 8/5/1891, Richard A born in Shaw 8/23/1894, and Margaret A born in Shaw 12/20/1896.
