Where is the stone house located? Also, does anyone have or know the history of the tavern at the end of Knobley Road in Short Gap? A small group of people saved the Tavern a few years ago and moved it acrossed the road. I have heard it is close to being put on the National Registry of Historical Places. It looks great today and as I understand it, it is being supported by the Short Gap Historical Society whose dues are $5.00 per year.
