Hi , saw your posting on Cannon. I also have a Cannon in my family (sort of). A Thomas Cannon from the Keyser area had a relationship with my Grandmother Grace Smith from Burlington. She got pregnant and gave birth to my father in 1919. she had him out of wedlock because Thomas Cannon was an older married man with a family of his own. It is beleived Thomas continued to see Grace and help support her son. Grace moved to Miami Fla. in 1921 because of the embarrasment of having a child out of wedlock in those times. Cannon continued to send her money while in Miami. We also think he worked or owned a mill in or around the keyser area. If this sounds like the same person let me know more information.
