It could be that she got her info from microfilm at the State Archives. Before WV became a state, a copy of all info had to be sent to the state capital of VA. Preston Co., WV court house burned in 1869 taking most of the record info I now need. Roy Lockhart copied the info of births, marriages, & deaths he found into a book. I am very grateful he took his time to do this. I have been able to find much family info in his book that I would not have been able to get. Barb Kelley in FL
