Thank you, Lonny Driving home today I was thinking about you and all of the wonderful Mineral County participants. You see, autumn arrives late in Southern California. The trees are alive with garnet/crimson/auburn/orange/lemon & beige. It is beautiful. A brisk wind arrived from down Mexico way causing the leaves to cha cha & rumba along the streets and sidewalks. In California, November is the best time of the year. When we were in Keyser in September, we hoped to find the millions of trees there wearing their harvest dresses. We were a few weeks too early. Here, there are only a few trees doing a great job of brightening up the neighborhoods, and I love every solitary one of them. They remind me of home.
