    3. On the web site: http://www.wvculture.org/history/agrext/frankfrt.html Is a history of the "Frankfort Communtiy". I am trying to find out more information about the following paragraph on this web page: "Captain Michael Cressap who lived in Old Town, Maryland, came over into Hampshire County during the early part of the Revolution and organized a company of riflemen. They marched to Boston and [were] featured in several small skirmishes there. Cressap returned with them as far as New York where he died and was buried. The men in this company from Frankfort include the names of Johnson, Ashby, Wagoner, Williams, Powell, Pew, Harris, and Miller." Can anyone offer any primary sources available that will give more information about this company of riflemen, what year they were organized, who they were (ie: first names), and what skirmishes they participated in? Or can you direct me to someone who can guide me in this research? Thank you, Lonny J. Watro Short Gap, WV P.S. A Note to Wagoner descendants. Someone in the DAR has disproved the fact that John Wagoner of the Fort Ashby area was a Revolutionary War participant. They claim that John Wagoner in Rev. War records is "their" John Wagoner who never lived in Fort Ashby. I am attempting to prove that John Wagoner of the Fort Ashby area did indeed participate in the Revolutionary War along with these other men listed above. None of these men are my ancestors that I know of, so any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
