Posted on: Mineral County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/WV/Mineral~/245 Surname: Grapes, Stickley, Tichinel ------------------------- As a 8 year old youngster, or thereabouts, I used to talk with a Mrs. Tichinel (unsure of the spelling, but it sounded like Tichinel) on her farm down the hill and across the dirt road from my aunt & uncle's (Robert & Louise Grapes)small chicken farm in Wiley Ford in Mineral County, WV. I liked Mrs. Tichinel and she evidently liked me, my brother, and Cousin Gene Grapes. For several years ahe sent us little notes inside of Christmas cards. I dont have any genealogical data relative to Mrs. Tichinel or any of her family, but I have many fond memories about her and and the farm. She was a very nice woman!
