Please keep our fellow MinCo researcher Joyce Thomas and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her daughter Patty, 21, passed away Wednesday, and her services will be held today. Patty died after a long and courageous battle with Niemann-Pick Disease. Her sister, Christine, died from this same rare disease in 1998. I met Joyce and Patty at the hospital, and learned Joyce had begun her genealogy research in regards to her daughters' Niemann-Pick Disease.
