My great-great grandfather who served in the Civil War in the WV 10th Company I Union Vol. Infantry was married twice. His first wife died in 1900, he remarried in 1901 and his 2nd wife was still living when he died in 1928. Could your Ellen Cosgrove be his 2nd wife?
