Walter RIDGELEY, b. 1878, Mineral Co, WV, adopted son of Alfred and Anna RIDGELEY, married Serrellar Lee "Lillie" ________, b. 1876, VA, could have been WV. Serrellar Lee "Lillie" was the first of Walter's three wives. Alfred was a son of Charles RIDGELEY for whom Ridgeley, Mineral Co, WV was named. Can anyone please tell me the maiden name of Serrellar Lee "Lillie" ________, and possibly the name of her parents? Various family members migrated back and forth between Mineral Co, WV and Allegany / Garrett Co, MD. Thank you for your time and any assistance that can be offered. Fran

I have no trips to Keyser planned any time soon, but I don't think there are any gaps between Stray Cat and the next several buildings. I guess it's possible that the original structure is still there, just renovated to commercial but without making a trip there I'm not sure. I live on Route 46 about 15 miles away, but I work in the opposite direction so I don't go that way very often. Hope that helps.

Over the span of several years, he went from Cumberland & Westernport MD, to Newberg, WV...then finally to Keyser. He came to Keyser sometime in the 1880's is my guess and retired around 1900. I'm trying to see if anyone has any working photographs of the trains and engineers just to see if I can find a picture of him. ==== WVMINERA Mailing List ==== kEEP LOOKING UP! ============================== Search the US Census Collection. 3. Dear Wilbur, I don't have that information at this location; and would not probably know if this John Kerns was Junior or Senior as I am only familiar with the John of this particular will. Other than his will I know nothing more really about him. Thought he was probably related to those who moved into Monongalia County but do not know that either. Denis and Sarah are in 1850 Morgan county census with children Emily and John William. They appear in the 1860 Census of Monongalia County. Emily married a William Bown in Cumberland Records about May 1852 (I think). Thought this was a small family for Denis and Sarah as Son John William and daughter Emily had large families. Denis and son John William were listed as millwrights/or carpenters on the census. Ginger ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilmer L.
