Born September 15, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of the late Earl Lewis and Lucille White Baker. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bluefield.In addition to his parents, one brother, Daniel E. Baker preceded him in death.Survivors include three daughters, Lori Mullis Akers and husband Robert of Princeton, Anita Mullis and fiancé James Linkous of Bluefield, and Tameka Mullis Harper and husband Thomas of Princeton; eight grandchildren, Eric Harper, Alexis Smith, Makayla Smith, Dylon Harper, Ethan Akers, Evan Akers, Gavin Mullis and Kyleigh Mullis; one sister, Darlene Baker Thomas of Princeton; maternal grandfather, Bill Helsel of Princeton; the love of his life and longtime companion, Martha Mullis of Princeton; nieces and nephews, Tabitha Thomas, Tony Thomas, Troy Thomas and Mya Tho! mas.Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2008 (today) at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Harold Massey officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour today. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Danieley and Baker Cemetery on the Brickyard Road in Princeton with Pastor Harold Massey and the Rev. Gary Lyons officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
