I have checked the cemeteries listed in the three History of Mercer Co books and can not find Andrew Gott or that cemetery. I do find references to his coming from Ireland and being a CSA Capt in the Giles Co books as well but still no burial. Do you have a death date? There is an "Unkown died Aug 1879" under Gott in Summers co Hilltop Cemetery. I did find the following in the Virginia Regimental Series if of interest: GOTT, Andrew A: Capt. in Co. I; enlisted Ap. 19, 1862 in Giles Co. present until he entered Charlottesville Hosp. for a head injury June 7,1864. Wounded in the left side and captured at Winchester, Sept. 19, 1864. Pardoned June 21, 1865. Although it provided no info on graves and did not show in the 2 Mercer Co History books I found a ref to a "HALL-GOTT Cemetery" in Princeton, WV. Possibly check with a funeral home in Princeton.
