I asked them if my Daddy was there and they, being polite, told me that I should find out his name and they might help. Daddy was all the name I knew. I rushed inside and asked Mother what Daddys name was and she told me Everette. It was strange to learn a new name for my Dad. I was only about age 2 -1/2 the time.
